The idea mostly hit me up a couple hours ago while I was procrastinating and I need somewhere to store it. Now, if anyone else can make use of it, well, that's great.
(Warning: Very quick-and-dirty version, because this was just a quick inspiration for teh lulz and I don't even have a table that would run Mage)
(Warning 2: FATE Core's "system" for special powers is 90% MTP, now combine that with oWoD's most OP game. You have been warned)
(Warning 3: Chances are, it sucks balls)
Enabler: Mage Aspect (include your tradition/convention). Some foci like Trinary Computers are required as a separate Aspect as well, but can likewise be invoked for bonuses.
Skill: Arete. Used to work magic. Base difficulty ranges from 0 to 4 for the otherwise 5 ranks of each sphere, in a nutshell:
Rank 1: Perception.
Rank 2: Interaction with existing elements.
Rank 3: Creation ex-nihilo.
Rank 4: Transformation.
Rank 5: Welcome to Crazy Town.
These difficulties are modified as follows:
Coincidental------------------------------- +0
Vulgar (without witnesses)------------- +2
Vulgar (with witnesses)----------------- +4
Will-Working without a Focus--------- +2
Domino Effect--- +1 per additional coincidence on the same scene
Large-sized Targets-------(as Core's rules)
Overcome: Depends on the sphere(s) used.
Create an Advantage: Depends on the sphere(s) used.
Attack: Some effects like mind control(Mind) or forced aging(Entropy) will require to be handled as Consequences. Attacking with the sphere of Forces or mixing Prime into miscellaneous attacks grant 2 extra shifts on success.
Defend: Depends on the sphere(s) used. Countermagic, on the other hand, can be used regardless of sphere.
Arete Stunts:
Antimagic: Allows you to create a "Hardened Reality" scene Aspect, giving you a free Compel as usual.
Arcane: Allows to use Arete to Defend against both Notice and Investigate.
Rote (specific): +2 for casting a specific effect you design at the moment you take this stunt.
Spheres: In order to harness the nine aspects of creation, a stunt is taken for the spheres of Matter, Forces, Entropy, Time, Correspondence, Life, Prime, Spirit, and Mind. Investing a Stunt slot in a sphere enables you to cast any effect from its 5 ranks. Slotting stunts into several Spheres allows you to create composite effects as usual.
Paradox: Casting vulgar magic inflicts a Paradox Consequence on the mage (but the player picks the Consequence slot, as long as they has slots available). Alternatively, the mage can instead opt to take an amount of Stress equal to an available Consequence slot. A mage without available Stress or Consequence boxes to survive Paradox is Taken Out. Paradox Consequences vanish at the following rates: Mild=1 day, Moderate=1 week, Severe=1 month.
Consensual reality: Cities, woods, and other areas all have an Aspect that denotes which paradigm reigns there. Mages doing vulgar magic at a paradigm-friendly area can invoke said Aspects to offset penalties for Vulgar magic.

You could use FAE's approaches as a closer Sphere analogue without straight up allowing Arete to go into crazy town levels as easily as buying Arete high and rolling well (or more likely, spending FATE points).
